By accessing the Site or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this Site or submitting a vehicle appraisal request, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Site or our services.
2. Services Provided
Golden State Financials provides a free, no-obligation vehicle appraisal service for private vehicle owners in California. Our service allows you to submit vehicle information (VIN, mileage, condition, photos) to receive a competitive cash offer. We are a licensed California wholesale vehicle dealer.
Submitting an appraisal request through this Site does not constitute a binding contract, sales agreement, or guarantee of an offer. All offers are subject to physical inspection of the vehicle and verification of submitted information.
3. User Representations and Warranties
By submitting a vehicle appraisal request, you represent, warrant, and certify that:
- You are the legal owner of the vehicle, or you are duly authorized by the legal owner to offer the vehicle for sale;
- All information you provide — including VIN, mileage, condition, and photos — is accurate, complete, and not misleading;
- The vehicle is free of undisclosed liens, encumbrances, title defects, or legal holds, or you will fully disclose any such issues prior to completing a sale;
- You are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law;
- The vehicle has not been reported stolen and is not subject to any active law enforcement hold.
4. No Guarantee of Purchase or Offer
Submission of an appraisal request does not obligate Golden State Financials to make a purchase offer or to purchase your vehicle. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to decline any appraisal request or to withdraw any offer at any time before a binding written purchase agreement has been fully executed by both parties.
Any offer we extend via phone, email, or in writing is non-binding and is contingent upon physical inspection of the vehicle. If the vehicle's actual condition, mileage, title status, or other characteristics differ materially from the information submitted, we may adjust or rescind any offer without liability.
5. Accuracy of Vehicle Information
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted. Submission of false, misleading, or incomplete information — including but not limited to misrepresentation of mileage, condition, accident history, or title status — may result in the withdrawal of any offer and may constitute fraud under applicable state and federal law.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use this Site for any unlawful purpose, or to:
- Submit false or fraudulent vehicle information;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its administrative systems;
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the Site;
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
